Swedish Stockings is a sustainable Swedish pantyhose brand that was founded in 2013. It makes its tights and stockings from both pre- and post consumer nylon waste. Because the brand actively encourages recycling of tights through its recycling program, it has already recycled thousands of tights. On top of that, its dye is eco-friendly.
Swedish Stockings is transparent about material use, which are mainly sustainable. It uses recycled polyamide, recycled elastane, bio-cotton, and cashmere. Only concerning cashmere, it’s unclear whether it’s certified. The entire supply chain lies in low-risk European countries in terms of workers' rights, and the knitting is done in a factory in Italy where 36 percent of energy use comes from solar power.
